Very good
Nice breakfast. Adequate room but be prepared for hot summer nights
Liked: Close to train station and city wall entrance. Nice breakfast customized to our preferences. Snacks out for guests to enjoy. Allowed us to store luggage, which is much appreciated.
Disliked: Hot rooms in the summer. A floor AC unit was provided but it didn't have an exhaust hose so it simply blew hot air back into the room. Bathroom for our room was a ways down the hall, but at least it was private.
We had a lovely stay in the heart of Lucca in at Le Violette!
So convenient!
Liked: Super close to train station - made it really easy to do day trips. Claudio was very helpful and supportive. Got to leave our bags after check out too.
Disliked: Check in took a while, as no one is on site
Liked: The owner is really friendly, helped a lot with good suggestions and gave us the breakfast even if it wasn't included with our package. The breakfast is abundant. The staying is nice really good value since you are inside the walls.

Liked: The owner's attention was perfect; he gave us complimentary breakfast. The bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is very nice. I missed my train because Trenitalia didn't notify me that it had been canceled. I managed to contact the owner, who wasn't here, and he gave me the check-in instructions. He saved our lives last night.

A very convenient place to stay
Liked: Great location for Mura di Lucca parkrun (3 minutes walk). Cafés and restaurants nearby. Easy walking distance to train or bus stations. Basic but comfortable accommodation.
Disliked: Overnight street noise. It was a Friday night though.
