  Liked: Location not too far from old city.

  Disliked: Very basic hostel feel. Extremely noisy at night from traffic. Mattress poor, decor poor. Thin worn towels. Lots of mosquitos in the room. Poor location instructions given - it off the road and up a small drive. Room locks basic - You have to put the key halfway in for the lock and door to open.

  Relais Puccini - 5 night stay

  Liked: Good sized room, excellent shower, fridge and the Air Con was superb

  Disliked: Bed wasn't particularly comfy. Towels not changed in 5 days

  A nice, clean quiet place close to the old town center of Lucca

  Liked: A great location close to the old city, on a quiet street, the place was very clean, the host was excellent, helpful, communicated well and provided us with a few requested basics.

  Disliked: As with almost all places we have stayed we suggest hooks, towel bars, and a table or shelves to put our clothing and things, as well as an exhaust fan in bathroom, and at least one comfortable chair. Otherwise the place was quite comfortable. Not bad value for the money (although we have stayed at places that offered more including equipped kitchen, table and chairs) for similar price.

  Liked: I liked Victorian style of the room and high celling. The location of the accommodation was very good. It was very close to heart of the city.

  Disliked: It would be nice if the room had basic kitchen appliances like kettle or working fridge. Access to shared kitchen would be very helpful for someone like me traveling across the coutrny with fresh food and drinks.

  Excellent!!!!!

  Liked: Marko the owner very helpful to deal with. Wonderful location, quiet and very close to the old town, Spotlessly clean.

  Disliked: There are two streets of the same name in Lucca! You must mention Buon Amici area with the street name. New owner Marko is rectifying this......highlighting it on the address..
