  Liked: Perfectly acceptable apartment. Great if you want a retro 1980s interior look. Central location. Great city.

  STAY AWAY! LOOKS NOTHING LIKE PICTURES, NO AIRCON AND REEKS OF CAT PISS

  Liked: DO NOT STAY HERE! NO AIRCONDITION - NO BALCONY - THE HOST SCAMMED US AND SAID WE WOULD GET A REFUND IF WE LEFT BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF ARCONDITION AND THEN GHOSTED US, LEFT EVERYTHING TO BOOKING.COM WHO ALSO NOT WANT TO HELP US. we had to sleep on the floor in the kitchen because there was not any airconditon in the bedrooms / upstarirs was a complete mess!

  Disliked: reeks of cat urine in the kitchen / living room - looks nothing like the pictures! unfriendly host, not understanding of our situation, we had to leave because it was so bad. Only wanted to communicate trough WhatsApp - DO NOT DO THAT! booking.com will not help you if the commination is not trough this platform. wrote us we could get a refund, then did not give us the refund. This is not value for money, this place is expensive for Mantova, find another space similar. - no air-condition on top floor where the bedrooms are (not even a fan or anything) - reeks of cat urine downstairs - no balcony - two locked rooms downstairs, one of them with a light that goes off and on, and the whole thing is just super dodgey and not nice. stay away!

  Lovely central apartment

  Liked: The apartment was lovely! And was in such a fantastic location. It was really nice having the private entrance, and felt very safe as a solo traveler. I know some people complained about the noise, but I didn’t find the street noisy at all (I stayed sunday to Thursday). And there was great communication from Luca. Overall a fantastic stay!

  Excellent Apartment

  Liked: Location is excellent for sight seeing. Very clean apartment with large bathroom which includes shower and separate bath. Any Communication with owner was answered quickly.

  Disliked: Don’t let it put you off, but like other reviews, the noise at night and the stairs up to the apartment

  Great apartment, real value for money, well appointed, and very central location. Recommended

  Liked: Great location in Central Mantova, with great cafés and restaurants nearby. Very good bookshops, fashion shops, especially shoes for colder weather. The Palazzo Ducal Museum is an amazing, enormous place to visit and should not be missed. We loved it all. The lakes are enormous, and it's unfortunate it rained a lot while we were there… in bright sunshine I'm sure this is a transcendent destination.

  Disliked: Outside our 2nd floor window there is a late night 'bar' of some kind, attracting loud patrons who kept up the racket every night till 1 am (one am), and it was hard to sleep or have any feeling of peace. We gathered these are migrant boys, which is such a pity after they have come so far in search of their fortune. Also… several lights did not work, I presume the bulbs are blown. It's hard to cook well on a darkened stove.
