  Liked: Absolutely brilliant location

  Disliked: It would be better if there was aircon in the bedrooms. The aircon units are in the kitchen/living area and the main entrance hallway. When it’s 38c during the day and 25-27c at night it would be more comfortable if the aircon was in the bedroom rather than having to leave the hall unit on and leave the bedroom doors open at night.

  chase host for check in aheadI. If anything goes wrong here, expect to solve it entirely yourself

  Liked: nothing, it was a pretty negative experience

  Disliked: Two serious issues. Check-in: apartments were available from 15:00 and our 16:00–17:00 arrival was confirmed in advance, but no instructions were sent. They only arrived after I messaged at 15:22 to say we were already driving. The self check-in is long and the final step needs an SMS code we couldn't receive as overseas guests. I messaged to say so and got no reply. We stood outside a locked apartment with two children until around 18:00, and only got in after asking a local tourist office to phone the host for us. Every other property on our trip sent instructions two days ahead. After the stay: we left a knife behind and the host confirmed finding it. They didn't want to go to the post office themselves, so they suggested I organise a courier pickup instead — which I did, and paid for. All they had to do was hand a packed parcel to the courier at the door. Three collections failed because nobody handed it over, including a time slot the host proposed and confirmed himself. He then stopped replying to me on Booking, eventually said he wouldn't even package it, and his final message was simply "amen." I did all the work to solve a problem that was theirs to help with, and was ignored anyway. Communication throughout was one or two words or silence. If anything goes wrong here, expect to solve it entirely yourself.

  Excellent location-Host needs to address instructions and maintenance

  Liked: Central location, bed rooms were accommodating

  Disliked: Had handicap and requested the lower level and stairs were a problem; no instructions in English on operation of equipt. i.e. stove, oven, coffee maker, trash; shower drain fills with water while showering; booked over 7 days without add'l towels being provided; toilet paper holder missing. Coffee maker was not working-found metal pieces & grinds inside; incorrect pods left (could be cause for problem) I cleaned unit from downloaded instructions the best I could-unit was still dripping water from underneath (internal problem) unit needs to be scaled.
