Apartment in good location but needs a good through clean, maintenance & update

Liked: Good location right next to the old town. Walking distance to large supermarket.

Disliked: Property didn’t look clean. Dirty skirting boards & bathroom corners, some sections of the walls could do with a clean. Kettle, toaster need replacing, top surface of side-table peeling off. Squeaky bed, very irritating. Felt the apartment looked neglected & tied with minimal effort to clean & present nicely between guests. Wouldn’t come back.
