  Fantastic Staff

Liked: The staff was very friendly and the room was spotless on entry and was kept that way throughout the stay. While there was a bit of a language barrier (English vs Italian) they were very kind and accommodating. You'll be greeted here with a smile. The room was surprisingly spacious and included a mini fridge, but no microwave. There's also a heat pump which worked great, especially on the hot days.

Disliked: I was on the "first" floor (second floor by American standards) and the noise from breakfast and the stairwell were a bit loud in the morning. Unless you're alright with a fair bit of walking, I recommend sorting out transportation to and from the historic center of Modena. Otherwise, it's a great, mostly quite location

  We enjoyed ourselves very well

Liked: Breakfast was modest but quite sufficient, coffee was served separately, room was spacious, good service and clean-up, very nice personnel

Disliked: Interesting was that there were no windows in the main room, only in bathroom, but maybe for a reason, there was also small nice balcony but no furniture
