Guest reviews
Very good
Liked: Very close to the centre of Modena, without being in the ZTL. Private parking available onsite for €15 per day. Room was spacious and quiet. There was also a lift to get to the room which was much needed given how much luggage we had. Host is friendly and as helpful as can be despite the language barrier. Kitchen also had a kettle, fridge and microwave for use.
Disliked: While the kitchen has a stovetop and appliances, the accomodation only provides utensils, plates/bowls, cooking tools for a €15 fee. The pipe connected to the overflow hole of the sink basin in our room doesn’t seem to be properly connected and leaks onto the floor. It otherwise worked fine if you don’t plug the drain.
Liked: I really liked the big shower and the hospitable hosts.
Disliked: Room had a full kitchen, but no utensils, plates or utensils to be able to use it.
Great value and fabulous location
Liked: Beautiful building, great location, on site private parking (euros 15/day)
Disliked: No bedside table, plug or light on one side of bed Only shampoo provided as toiletries - no soap for shower etc Only one mug and 2 water glasses provided (in a triple room)
Good overall experience. Hotel was in a good location for access to centre of Modena
Liked: The property was very secure and location for centre was good. We found a great bakery and super market a couple of minutes away.
Disliked: The only issue for us was the receptionist / host did not speak any English so communicating when we arrived was a small issue. Fortunately the maid did speak some English and helped us out.
Great location and comfortable rooms
