Liked: I had such a lovely stay-over in the appartment, host is so kind, warm welcome despite late arrival, all well-explained, location is a 4min. walk from a large parking area.

Liked: The B&B is in a great location, less than a 10-minute walk from the cathedral. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the centre. We travelled by car and there were free parking spaces near the accommodation. The rooms are comfortable, and we had a wide selection of treats and coffee for breakfast. The owners also brought us fresh croissants.
Liked: Safe, secure and clean. Nice location
Disliked: Short version: The owner lied to Booking.com, claiming I was in the hospital as the reason for canceling the reservation from my side. Long version: I booked the accommodation with the description and photos showing a fully equipped kitchen. I asked on WhatsApp if the kitchen was available, and the owner replied that it was strictly forbidden to use it, meant only to be used in the morning. I sent her a screenshot from Booking.com showing the kitchen, and she immediately asked me to cancel the reservation myself. I refused because it was already 6 p.m. and we had planned to cook, which forced us to spend more money on dinner. I asked for a discount, and she kept pressuring us to cancel the booking. I didn’t agree. Then Booking.com called me to “confirm” that I was in the hospital and couldn’t make it to the accommodation. In reality, I was in a supermarket. After that, I even received a message on the Booking.com app from the owner saying they “agree” with a free cancellation—they basically staged the whole thing for Booking.com. When I called out the lie, the owner accused me of lying. I have screenshots of everything, though I assume the owner will deny it again. To be fair, she communicated through a translator, but the attitude was still arrogant and unprofessional. I recommend skipping this accommodation; there are better offers in Monreale.
