Exceptional
Ideal for a short stay in the area
Liked: Lovely place to stay outside of the town but easy walk to Montalcino. Good room for two and ideal for several night stay but we only had one night. Good breakfast and chat with the owner whii ok sells local perfumes and jams
Disliked: Would have preferred two single beds but we didn’t complain.
Marcella and her assistant, Tania were both charming and friendly hosts!
Liked: The breakfasts were always fresh and delicious. The host will also prepare eggs upon request. Great choice of specialty coffees. I loved the cappuccinos! We purchased wine and olive oil made on-site.

Liked: The cottage is built in traditional stone and furnished in keeping with a comfortable bed and lovely views from the bedroom window and doors onto the terrace with far-reaching vista. Lovely on a sunny day. The town can be walked in under 10mins up a footpath from the property.
Disliked: Little natural light in main living room which has the dining table and sofa to one side. Much brighter lighting would brighten it in daytime. The bathroom is spacious with a powerful shower. Toilet is tricky as it’s too close to shower for comfort!

Liked: gorgeous old cottage, beautiful produce gardens, close to town to walk in for dinner, host very welcoming and prompt with communication, parking easy, minimal steps, we had it to ourselves in July
Disliked: bed was a normal inner spring but was surprisingly comfortable

Liked: Marcella was a wonderful host. She has a love and passion for Azienda Agraria La Casella that permeates everything. (From the grounds, meals, accommodations, products she sells) The breakfast was wonderfully presented and excellent ( I do not have the name of the woman who prepared our meal, she greeted us with a beautiful smile each morning! ) I am enjoying the saffron and olive I purchased and get many compliments on the perfume. Thank you for precious moments of our trip.

Liked: We had a perfect stay and enjoyed every moment. The views were absolutely breathtaking, the room was beautiful and equipped with everything we needed, and the breakfast was outstanding. A special thank you to Marcella for the wonderful winery tour, the excellent wine tastings, and the fantastic recommendation for a nearby spa. Everything was perfect, and the hospitality made us feel truly welcome. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back! ❤️🍷🏞️🙏🏻
