**DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE unless you plan to spend most of the night out and do not care about sleep
Liked: A terrible night in Montalcino
Disliked: I made a last-minute booking without reading all the reviews, and I deeply regret it. **DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE unless you plan to spend most of the night out and somehow manage to sleep through the noise that starts early in the morning!** The noise is unbearable. The bars on the street are extremely loud at night, and before 7 AM, the noise starts all over again with traffic, garbage collection trucks, and other street disturbances. Getting a decent night's sleep is impossible. To make matters worse, **THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING.** With all the noise coming from the street, you feel forced to keep the windows and shutters closed, leaving the room stuffy and uncomfortable, with no fresh air. The self-check-in process was also unnecessarily complicated and poorly explained. We were given confusing instructions about collecting the key from a lockbox at a different address because the lockbox for our accommodation was broken. To top it all off, the lockbox was so poorly designed that my husband actually injured his finger trying to open it. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Between the unbearable noise, lack of air conditioning, and poorly managed check-in process, I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Disliked: The triple room is opposite a bar playing loud music that is open to 2am. There's double glazing, but the sound comes through the wall It's a beautiful spot in Tuscany, so it was a shame to be going to sleep to the sounds of Charmillionaire.

Was tainted by the terrible check in, a shame as the alt was very well appointed
Liked: Horrendous check in, comical if it hadn't been so frustrating. The key we were given was wrong, it wouldn't open the door, turned out to be a new key they hadn't tested. It was a totally different shape key. Luckily all the key boxes used the same codes, 000 followed by the room number so we used a key from a different room. Meanwhile, we were texting the property contact trying to figure out a solution. Absolutely no help what so ever, in the end just stopped responding, totally ignored phone calls and texts. If we hadn't found the key in another safe we would have been stuffed. She finally contacted us 4 hours later because the people who key we had taken to get in te front door also couldn't get in. The other stupid thing was, the key boxes were in another building which didn't have access to, other than a remote system via texting. I would def avoid this place for that reason, I've not looked but I'm sure there are many who have had similar experiences. I've been doing this since AirBnB started, rented hundred of places in many countries and never had to write a review like this. Shockingly bad. On top of all that, the triple room we booked only had one bed made up for the two of us. When I requested the other bed be made up they just said 'no
