  Liked: The proprietor was very responsive with check in and check out. The property had a gorgeous view of Tuscany and was very close to Montepulciano and parking. Breakfast was very good in the breakfast area, with many choices. We needed to do laundry and she was very helpful in bringing a drying rack and getting our laundry out in the sun.

  Liked: The property is located at a beautiful hilltop with great views. The host is extremely gracious and welcoming. She was accomodating to our requests. The bathroom was amazing, a change from the other B&Bs we stayed at across Italy. Bathtub was a bonus. Very clean, very spacious. Location: In my opinion it's ideal for those who are looking to rest and relax. There is no accessibility by foot since it's at the end of a road which is a downward slope and the walk to montepulciano centre is a bit long and again, on a slope. So it is only accessible by car. We had a great time because that is exactly the type of property we were looking for. Amazing views of the tuscany countryside.

  Disliked: Walking up the hill to leave the property could get a bit tiring.

  Great location for enjoying Moltipulicano

  Liked: In rural location, but close to old walled city. Great breakfast. V comfortable with private patio.. Found a fantastic wine tasting just inside city wall. Free inspiring guided tour of cellars with ample wine samples and accompanying hors d'oerves. We did buy 2 bottles of wine because it was good, but felt no pressure.

  Disliked: Sign at entrance was a little confusing in terms of reception vs accommodation. Our fault for not giving advance notice of arrival time.

  walkable but removed from Montepulciano, friendly host, good value, weak wifi

  Liked: I stayed 3 nights and can recommend the location. Montepulciano is a good base for the rest of Val d'Orcia because it has more shops, restaurants, and amenities, but it's nice to stay at a place like Pacifico that is a bit removed from the town. My room did not have a view over the hillside but you can sit outdoors and enjoy that view. The room itself was fairly big, clean, and comfortable enough. Lucia was friendly and helpful. There are a very sweet cat and dog who live on the property. The breakfast spread changed slightly each day (different meats, different pastries) and was fairly extensive, with both savory and sweet options. It was great to have access to the communal fridge. Finding the location and parking there was easy, and the walk into the town center was fairly easy (not too steep uphill). Overall I found the place to be a good value for everything it offered.

  Disliked: -The Wifi wasn't very good. Sometimes I could not connect at all from my room (the common room was usually a little better), and mostly I used my phone's hotspot, though my cell reception also wasn't very good in the room. The wifi was best in the early afternoons. Some other guests, who have stayed there repeatedly over 20 years, told me the first morning that the wifi is always like that, and I didn't have anything urgent I needed to do, so I did not check in with Lucia about it, but if you're someone who likes using wifi in your room while traveling, you may want to know this! -This is not the host's fault, but unfortunately there were some noisy guests and there was a decent amount of noise transfer. The common area downstairs creates a lot of echo, so I got awakened more than once by people making noise as they came through. Not an issue if you're not a light sleeper, though!
