Great view away from the bustle

Liked: Great view over Monterosso. Away from the crowds of the village. The apartment was as described and well equipped, the host was very friendly with good tourist advice. The wine was excellent:-) The walk up to the property was as described in the ad.

Liked: Host was very nice. Place is site of an old farmhouse the owner has rebuilt from a shell. He's done a very nice job and kept old charm while incorporating modern comforts. It's a quiet location with a spectacular view of Monterosso.

Disliked: I did not mind the well communicated hike up the hill, however it's not just that it's up a hill. It's actually quite a distance from the town. You have to be pretty motivated to want to walk down to go out anywhere for dinner or anything. For example, it's a 28 minute walk to the local train station... downhill. Go out for dinner and you're looking at a 20 minute hike uphill.

Liked: Amazing views, the trek is 100% worth it and you get to explore more than you think you would via the hidden paths intertwining through the town and to neighbouring towns. Filippo was super attentive, polite to any messages and needs and had great insight to recommendations for activities and restaurants. He’s the perfect host. The house has been beautifully restored with antique features and feels like a private sanctuary with great views of the town. Surrounded by vineyards which we were lucky enough to purchase a bottle of his white wine which was delicious. When in season there are many veggies and herbs to cook with in the garden. Definitely will be coming back as we were only here for a short while and still have so much to explore!!

Stunning views and the owner is fantastic

Liked: The property and location are beautiful! It is obvious how much love and care the owner has put into making this a wonderful experience.

Disliked: Take “trekking lovers” to heart. Bring shoes with tread. Some portions of the hike in/out are extremely steep. That said, this place is worth the effort. Just plan accordingly.
