Exceptional
Absolutely Fantastic! A return visit would definately see us staying with Carla again!!
Liked: Everything! Our hostess Carla was amazing, her suggestions where to go what to see, especially the Cantina Cinque Terre Wine Makers Co Op in Manarola, the apartments location above Vernazza opposite the hills covered in grape vines and fruit trees, the 1 bedroom self contained apartment on the ground floor. Vernazza. Everything!
Disliked: If I had 1 suggestion it would be a shower head holder over the bath, but that’s it.
Great stay with lots of space and right by train station
Liked: Very spacious, with near new fixtures. Also very big common area with kettle and coffee machine. Small snacks given daily worked well as first bite in the morning.
Disliked: Quite a bit of stairs, but that’s pretty much everywhere in Vernazza
I’m not sure I’d return due to inconveniences
Liked: Tremendous view. However, small window in the kitchen area to look out. Owner was very attentive to our needs.
Disliked: If you were training for the Olympics..this is your place. We went up and down the hill to town and train station 3 times a day at least. Most dreaded was the stairs once we reached the building. Nowhere does it mention that you’re sharing a two bedroom apartment with other guests. We felt trapped in our room at night.
Camere Toni is a quiet retreat from a very busy Vernazza!
Liked: You go uphill to reach the property which is great because you are away from the crowds plus have an amazing view out the window. Very nice place to stay; large room, great private bathroom, plus a communal space shared with one other guest room. There’s a fridge for your cold things. Air-conditioning in the room was very good. Coffee pods and biscuits provided plus the host brought us a plate of grapes from their vineyard and fresh lemons. Our host made us feel very welcome.
Disliked: There is no facility to cook, or even a microwave to reheat anything, so you will be eating out for all your meals. Be aware there is a small hill to get to the house, but the benefit of this is peace and tranquility with great views. Then the apartment is on the 4th floor so you get your steps up!

Liked: It was gorgeous! The room itself is very spacious and with AC. There is also a large common area with a great view. There was a refrigerator for each room in the common area.
Disliked: Our first time to the property, Google Maps directed us to go there using the longest, most tiring route ever. Luckily, our host pointed out the shorter way up and to the middle of town. It’s still quite a climb plus the camere is at the very top of the building. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone with mobility or endurance issues.
Great base for exploring Cinque Terre
Liked: Quiet area away from the tourists, comfy bed, lovely hosts, allowed us to store our bags after check-out
Disliked: The hike up the hill wasn’t ideal in the heat but that’s the reality of the villages of Cinque Terre
