  Liked: We loved the location and the views from our room.The lady that was our host was very nice and seemed to be running the hotel mostly on her own. She worked very hard to make our stay comfortable.Lovely breakfast.

  Disliked: The shower was a handheld shower in a bath. Would have liked a fridge in the room also.

  Perfect location for exploring Ortisei

  Liked: Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean and perfect location for the centre of town. We based ourselves here for Sassolungo which is a short drive and Seceda and Alpine de Suisse cable cars just a 15 minute walk. Leanne is the perfect host and breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. There is parking too which is a real bonus as the car parks around Seceda fill up really early.

  Would highly recommend staying at Hotel Fortuna when visiting Ortisei!

  Liked: The breakfast was fantastic and everyone was really friendly to us the entire stay. There were numerous pamphlets to choose from for directions and plenty of options to eat around the area for dinner. The town is walkable and the bus is convenient. The room was spotless every time we arrived back from hiking!

  Disliked: Nothing about our stay troubled us at all. The only thing I would add is be mindful of the amount of tourists when using the bus system as sometimes they were too full (this has nothing to do with the hotel).

  Very hospitable, friendly well located little inn

  Liked: Comfortable homey little place. Great location, other than the constant climbing and descending but that’s the beauty of the alto adige. But well paced for the lifts and the restaurants and even the friendly busy laundromat.

  Disliked: Housekeeping was very hit or miss. One evening we returned from a day out and then dinner and saw she had left us with no towels whatsoever. Luckily the ever handy the ever friendly the ever helpful Leanne was still there so a showerless night was averted. Many other inconsistencies with housekeeping, another night no bathmat, so balancing on a tiny wet hand towel.
