  I wish I could live there for a few months each year

  Liked: I liked the views and the sunrises and sunsets, the terrace, the privacy and quiet. It is close to amazing restaurants. The host was excellent and arranged a taxi to the Rome airport for us.

  Disliked: People should know that there are 56 stairs to get to this apartment, and it is a farther walk to get there than expected from the Duomo. That being said, it was ideal for me, my husband and cousin.

  This was my seventh visit staying in Orvieto, lovely people in that village

  Liked: Very spacious and modern air-conditioned apartment in the medieval quarter great location

  Disliked: There are 60 steps from ground level to the front door so for the faint of heart it’s a challenge to get your suitcase up there. I booked a two bedroom apartment but when the two of us arrived, I was told that if we wanted to use the second bedroom, there would be an additional 180 Euro charge. I asked for what and she said for use of the linen. I left the additional €180 plus the city tax on the table for the rental agent. We never saw any staff, and there was no change of linen for our 10 days there. I did ask for a clean towel on the sixth day which someone left at the front door.

  Liked: Beautiful apartment with amazing views, it was all and more. Wonderful breeze at night. I will remember this place forever.
