Lovely spacious apartment! Private and near city center

Liked: Beautiful spacious apartment with garden area and parking! Host was friendly and communicative.

Disliked: Directions to the apartment are a little confusing but it’s due to the narrow streets that access the apartment.

  Lovely

Liked: We loved our stay in Orvieto and this property. It was nice to have patio to chill in the evenings. Place was clean and updated. Enjoyed the flowers in bloom and mature trees in yard.

Disliked: Would suggest clearer check in instructions and a small refrigerator would be appreciated. It is a very tight turn to pull into the parking area. After the first night we chose to pay to park around the corner. The owner was out of town during our stay but did the best to help us navigate the challenges.

A perfect base for exploring Orvieto

Liked: Brilliant location. Within easy walking distace of all main sights, restaurants and shops. Having a very secure parking space in the centre of Orvieto was wonderful. The access route was clearly explained by our host and the location was reached with ease, avoiding the ZTL. Having a smaller hire car made travelling through Orvieto much easier as the streets are quite narrow in places with tight turns. We were met by the cleaning lady who was so helpful in showing us around and explaining how to get to the parking area. The apartment was even better than portrayed in the photographs and is certainly very well equipped. For example, the pictures did not show the lovely view towards the distant hills from the nicely tended garden. The beds were really comfortable with excellent A/C and heating if needed. Getting to the sights is easy, level and takes minutes. There are many restaurants nearby, but we settled on Trattoria dell' Orso (a 2min walk) which was excellent. Staying in this apartment made our stay in Orvieto so much more of an event

Disliked: Nothing. Everything was better than expected.
