Not as authentic as we thought, but great location

Liked: Great location right at the exit of the escalator from a major parking area. Easy walk to everything in town. Very quite, good night sleep. Easy check-in and check-out. Obviously very basic, but clean.

Disliked: Breakfast was disappointing. We expected something simple but fresh, with local pastries and bread, but found mostly packaged croissants, cookies, cereals, and cake that didn't seem particularly fresh. One morning, even the bananas looked past their best, with fruit flies around them. We had hoped for a peaceful stay where history and simplicity came together. Instead, the atmosphere felt cold and impersonal, and the overall experience lacked the warmth and authenticity we had expected from such a place.

  Historic building in perfect location

Liked: Great location and easy to find, though signage could be a little more helpful on the wall outside the gate. Comfortable room with good bathroom, in an historic building.

Disliked: Would be nice to have the facilities for toast for breakfast, and a proper coffee machine.

Good value, standard accommodation. Well placed for visiting the city

Liked: The place was clean and functional. It is an interesting building. The location was perfect, in the old city and near to the escalators from the car park.

Disliked: There was nothing not to like really.

  Cost effective and peaceful

Liked: A peaceful and convenient base to visit the beautiful city of Orvieto from. Just at the top of the escalator from the main car park. A basic room but very clean and quiet.
