  Friendly host and prime location

  Liked: The friendly host. The location is very close to the old town city centre. The terrace.

  Disliked: Not an issue as it was just for two nights and I believe many people wont mind but I missed having a microwave and a kettle. You do however have a small pot to boil water and the cooker. I tried to follow the instructions to use the heating but it didn't work. In the main bedroom was okay as inside the bed you dont feel cold. But the whole apartment was a bit cold, mainly the living room.

  Lovely convenient apartment in Orvieto

  Liked: Lovely quiet location, close to everything. AC worked well. Rooftop terrazzo was spectacular. The owner was kind and accommodating.

  Stay somewhere else

  Liked: Nothing. The flights of stairs to get to the apartment was not highlighted in the description. The outdoor sitting area was up another flight of stairs that can only be described as a ladder. The gentleman was rude demanding the tourist tax before we had got the suitcases up. He followed us into the apartment - we had no idea who he was. The apartment was difficult to find. It was also isolated from restaurants and the main areas. We left within 10 minutes.

  Disliked: Everything. The couch was putrid and the bed was not satisfactory. The communication was poor.

  We enjoyed our visit and the experience

  Liked: This property gave us the true feeling and experience of an authentic Italian house. Also very clean. The proprietor was patient with us.

  Disliked: There were many steep steps.
