  Liked: Host, Giuseppe both picked up and dropped off at the train station, his attention to detail can be seen throughout the property. Cold bottled water in fridge. Clean and modern barn conversion property. Having a coffee, outside at the crack of dawn with the citrus and olive trees and the doves cooing, utterly magical. Then upon sunrise walking to the back of the property to see the sun hit the temples, glorious. Just ensure you cover yourself in mosquito repellent!! Easy access to the beach. I would definitely return.

  Disliked: The restaurant next door had a function, but I mainly slept throughout it. Otherwise the rest of the nights were quiet.

  Liked: Fantastic location inside the Paestum city walls with lovely view of the temples from the end of the garden. Easy walk to the main site entrance, local supermarkets and the train station (although the owners kindly collected us from the station and took us back at the end of our stay). Nice terrace area with table, chairs and loungers. Peaceful.

  Disliked: The property is, I think, a converted outbuilding and although well converted and well furnished in a traditional style doesn’t have any windows with views - but not much could be done about that.

  Excellent place for Paestum

  Liked: Fantastic location to access various archaeological sites, walking distance to Paestum and restaurants Beautiful garden for breakfast or brunch Good heating, apartment cool during day

  Disliked: Bed was too hard for us, and pillows too soft

  Disappointing in almost all regards. Not recommended

  Liked: Very close to ruins as promised. Nothing else to like.

  Disliked: Kitchen not equipped for use (no sharp knife, no chopping board). Limited means to dry clothes. Bathroom tiny. No balcony. No genuine view of ruins unless you hang over the rear fence 40 yards away and the garden is shared and uncomfortable. Nearest neighbors cows and poultry, and it smelt that way. Very noisy restaurant the second nearest neighbor. OK as a bolt-hole, but you would be better off to get somewhere nice and drive to the ruins (plenty of parking, some free).
