Liked: Location was fantastic, huge room and a huge plus was the lift in the building ❤️
Disliked: The inernet was very sketchy. Had to get up early to get a decent shower, when everyone else is using it, the water can run cold.
Liked: We really liked the host; he was very attentive, always in touch, and caring. Although we didn't meet him in person, his attentiveness followed us even after we had closed the door and said goodbye.
Disliked: For us, the sound of the water pipes and the pump was unusual. In the beginning, the noise invading through the window might seem strange to some; it felt as though the neighbors had gathered outside for an event, even though there was no courtyard and the noise was coming from everyone's houses. It is unusual at first, but later it conveys a different kind of warmth. That is the Sicilian atmosphere enveloping you with family warmth.
Liked: Host and staff were nice and friendly, bed was very comfortable and the room was very good, also the towels and sheets were clean.
Disliked: This is for room no.3 The bathroom needs renovation, many rusted metals, bathroom door has a rusty lock and no door handle. Despite this I would have given this property a score of 8 if was not for what we saw the last night. The last night around midnight or a bit later there was a massive cockroach(outdoor type) inside of the bathroom. When I turned on the light the cockroach was frozen, then moved around and it hid under the bidet(we left the light on so it wouldn't move around)... I tried to take a photo of it the next day but it was somehow gone by then so I didn't say anything about this to the host since I didn't get a chance to meet him when we left. It probably lives in the bathroom or somehow enters or exits trough the sewer. This issue must be addressed by the host. Cockroaches are extremely unsanitary and carry alot of diseases, this one was the biggest I have ever seen, like the ones I saw in the center outside on the street by the trash.
Liked: Simple and nice accomodation, host was polite and we could easily arrange check in and check out time.
Nice place to stay in Palermo
Liked: Wonderful communication with the host, excellent location, comfortable room and bathroom. Super fast wifi. Air conditioner, easy self check in and check out.
Disliked: No soundproofing, you can hear the people laughing and screaming next door.
