  Wonderful stay in Palermo

  Liked: Our host, Giacamo, communicated with us before our arrival and gave us step-by-step instructions. He actually ended up meeting us in front of the property, helped us with our luggage and shows us everything in the apartment The apartment was clean and comfortable, had a nice balcony, refrigerator, microwave, plenty of closet space. TV and wifi worked well. Location was excellent, many stores and restaurants closely. Old town Palermo was walkable. Giacamo helped us arrange reasonable and private transportation to the airport and gave us recommendations on a great restaurant around the corner. Thank you for making our time in Palermo so nice

  Disliked: There is no shelf in the shower to hold shampoo and soap (had to put it on the floor) But the shower hot water worked great

  A beautiful weekend in Palermo

  Liked: Clean, comfortable, and fully equipped. Only a block from the train station. Quite spacious with a lovely sunset balcony.

  Disliked: No shelf in shower for toiletries.

  Superb

  Liked: Balcony, location, parking, it was very spacious, lovely host.

  Disliked: Heating option on aircondition wasn't working as it should so it was a bit cold. In the kitchen we were missing some big cups (for tea). Coffee machine wasn't working, there were wrong capsules inserted.

  Great Stay

  Liked: The apartment was very clean and spacious. We loved the location as it was very close to the train station which we needed to use a few times and was only a 10-15 minute walk into the heart of Palermo. The balcony was an added bonus although because of the location it could be quite noisy but we loved this - taking in all the sights and sounds of the city! We think the windows on the balcony door were triple glazed as you couldn't hear anything of the traffic etc when they were closed, so we slept peacefully in a very comfortable bed. We had been travelling around Sicily, so having access to the washing machine and iron were great. We didn't use the cooking facilities but it looked as though everything you would need was there, including an air fryer. There were two lifts in the building which was great as the apartment was on the 6th floor.

  Disliked: We weren't given a key to access the main front door and were instead given the code to the intercom system. Unfortunately this wasn't working and so we were given a different code to access the apartment block via a garage door. We were just a little concerned about what might have happened if this also stopped working! Would have been better to have a key. Although there seemed to be plenty of plates etc and cutlery, there did seem to be a lack of mugs and normal glasses. There were plenty of espresso cups and wine glasses. Also, we couldn't make the shower head stay higher up the pole, it just kept falling down - luckily neither of us are very tall - the water was always lovely and hot! We also didn't think there were enough power points - none in the bedroom or living room and only two in the kitchen. Maybe an extension lead would be handy. These were all small issues which didn't detract from a great stay.

  Very good apartment with a great host

  Liked: Host welcomed us, he was very pleasant and his instructions were clear and helpful and he was very responsive and polite. Apartment is new, clean and beds are very comfortable. Location is 3 minutes from the train station. There are few nice restaurants nearby.

  Disliked: Surroundings - full of immigrants and suspicious people trying to trick you. But that's unfortunately almost general feeling about Palermo.
