Very good
Liked: The location was great! Staff nice! breakfast was fine.
Disliked: the bed and mattress were very uncomfortable. too noisy as well. The lack of an elevator was another issue, especially since we were placed on the top floor and had to carry our luggage up the stairs or ask for help.
Awful hotel, very dirty with rude staff
Disliked: It was absolutely disgusting. There was a strong smell of damp and mould throughout, the bedroom walls were dirty and the bathroom walls had mould on them. I asked to move to another room and was told no. I then asked for a refund so I could go somewhere else, but this was also refused. The staff were incredibly rude and dismissive. When I showed them a photo of the stained pillow, they actually laughed and asked if I normally took the pillowcase off, saying that was what it was for. The room is so dark with just a dim flickering light and the bed is more like a camp bed than a proper hotel bed. I ended up leaving and having to pay for alternative accommodation, and not once did anyone apologise or acknowledge my complaint. I can’t express enough how disgusting it was but the attitude of the staff made the whole experience even worse.

Liked: The location was absolutely ideal just being a couple of minutes walk from Quattro Canti. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The hotel seems to be a modernised older building and has a really nice feel about it. Staff on reception 24 hours. Breakfast was fine. Good shower, soap, shampoo. WiFi in my room and throughout. Bar available too.
Disliked: Nothing much. The bathroom floor tended to flood a bit when I used the shower. WC cistern needed a bit of encouragement to fill up again.
A good short stay in Palermo
Liked: The hotel is in a great location. Very close to the very heart of Palermo but on a quiet street. The staff are very good and helpful. I liked the hotel a lot. It is old but has character. I felt very safe and comfortable as a solo female traveller. The breakfast was very adequate.
