  very pleasant stay. A small but very chic hotel

  Liked: The hotel’s location is fantastic — close to the station and all the main sights of Palermo. The street is lively and noisy, but safe even at night. The staff are extremely kind and pleasant. The possibility to leave your luggage at the hotel both before check-in and after check-out is a big plus (there’s also a bathroom available for changing and similar needs). The breakfast is simple but quite sufficient to start the day. The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious enough, and the bathroom was large (though the lighting could have been a bit better). Our room didn’t face the main street, but it was still somewhat noisy (sounds of cars from the street), so we had to keep the window closed. I would love to visit Palermo again, and I wouldn’t mind staying at the same hotel again.

  Noisy experience in a nice hotel

  Liked: Hotel was pleasant and positively quirky. 4th floor of an apartment building. Rooms were clean and the staff was really nice, and the location was excellent for walki ng around and seeing the sights.

  Disliked: The noise from the street. It was Saturday, and you can hear everything from the street. Via Roma is probably the noisiest street in Palermo. Basically, it felt like you were sleeping on the street. Even with earplugs and noise-canceling headphobes we could not get any sleep. Seriously. So avoid rooms facing the street, if you can. Inner courtyard rooms must be better.

  Liked: Location, very close to train station if you have an early morning flight. Breakfast is good with fresh croissants and variety of spreads and cereals. But the room really needs some TLC, time to refresh especially the bathroom where things are a bit falling apart, and paint the walls in the room after some water leak or mould that happened earlier on the bathroom side

  Disliked: Bathroom is terribly small and needs some work done, although functional.We have seen so many cheaper and better places with spotless and renovated bathrooms during our two weeks trip to Sicily so the expectation was higher Wifi works well in the lobby but proportionally worse with the distance increase of your room to it
