Very good
Liked: The hotel is in a fantastic location, just an 8-minute walk from the train and bus stations. From there, almost all the major points of interest are within walking distance. They also provide free luggage storage after checkout. Highly recommended!
Ok for 1 night
Liked: Ideal location for the train station. Room was functional.
Disliked: Can have a bit of outside noise from busy street.
Good stay
Liked: Big room and private big bathroom. No kettle but could buy coffee in morning.
Great Spot for Motorcycles Leaving on Ferry
Liked: Central location close to ferry terminal (8 minute drive). We had a large room on the first floor in an annex in the garden. Our motorcycles were parked behind locked gates in the garden, and close to annex stairs. Large fridge, table and two chairs. Large wardrobe.
Disliked: We had to leave early so couldn’t partake in breakfast. The lighting in the room was great on one side, but quite dark on the other. Drapes on windows don’t quite fit so were pinned together with paper clips at the corner for privacy. We were only given one set of towels, but were too tired to go fetch a second from the hotel and didn’t bother calling - we made do.
Liked: A last minute booking after my flight was diverted to Palermo, the helpful staff arranged an airport pick-up for my late night arrival, and spent ten minutes helping me open my locked luggage, after I lost the key. The room and bathroom were spacious and spotless with an old style charm (nicer than the photos) - I really liked this unpretentious hotel with great staff and would choose it again for a longer stay. Great value and has a lift.
Liked: + Location (close -8 minutes on foot- to the train station and bus terminal, near the botanical garden, close to the old town) + Staff + Comfortable bed + Well working wifi
Disliked: - White lighting of the room. (Table lamp and bath was yellow)
