Superb! The apartment is very comfortable!
Liked: The apartment is very comfortable and features a fully equipped kitchen. It boasts an excellent location, close to the historic center and the Teatro Massimo. The host, Ugo, helped arrange a late-night airport transfer and assisted with several other requests; he was very pleasant and welcoming.

Disliked: This apartment was not safe and had multiple issues during our stay. The shower head was not fixed to the wall and while taking a shower, it fell on my partner's head first and then it knocked down a heavy ceramic soap dispenser from the shelf which then dropped on her foot, causing a hematoma and displacement of the bone in her toe. We contacted the owner to let him know of this incident whom admitted to have been aware of the loose shower head but that he didn't have time to fix it because "with people coming and going everyday, I don't have the time to fix it." We then contacted Booking to ask for a refund because this incident not only caused pain and suffering but it prevented us from enjoying the rest of our vacation due to lack of mobility. Booking indicated that the owner requested a medical report for his insurance. We went to the nearest medical clinic to see a doctor and get X-rays which we paid for out of pocket. Once we submitted this documention, the owner indicated that this was not good enough for his insurance and that we needed to go to the hospital emergency by ambulance. This seems a very strange request as a medical report from a doctor is valid, regardless of the location. Booking requested a full refund for us but the owner refused multiple times. Now, I will have no other choice but to retain legal counsel to request a full refund for our stay plus pain and suffering for lack of enjoyment. We worked hard and saved for this vacation but because of the owner's own negligence in providing a safe environment for his guests, we were not able to fully enjoy it. There was also a water leak in the kitchen and we contacted the owner but he never answered and didn't come until the next morning to check us out (he told us we had to leave earlier at 9:30 am instead of 10:00 am because he had other guests checking in).
Very nice flat in a quiet building
Liked: Loved the location and elevator. Lovely historic building with modern conveniences. The bathroom view overlooking a garden of trees was a really nice break from city views.
Disliked: The knives were dull and I would have appreciated having a dish towel to dry my dishes.
Liked: Location, comfort. Super grateful that they accommodated my very late check in.
Disliked: WiFi was not very good.
Amazing stay, location was perfect for visiting Palermo, the apartment was nice and the host was very friendly
