Exceptional
It´s a pity, but it missed a top classification. With little effort it could do much better
Liked: Top location, view over the roofs of Palermo, tasteful decoration (bedroom, bath), friendly service.
Disliked: The room was not lockable (technical defect). Minor defects at WC and shower. Frequent sewer odor in bathroom. Musty towels (after 1-2 days, probably not properly washed and dried).
Liked: Nice location good rooms friendly staff

Convenient location but some issues
Liked: Excellent location, big room, friendly staff, great views
Disliked: Bathroom had lots of limescale and smelt of stale urine (especially strong if you closed the door of the bathroom too long). The room was serviced by replacing the bathmat but our cups weren't changed. We also used the shuttle service but it was a lot of admin (needing to remind them 24 hours before arriving, numerous messages from her whilst waiting to get through security), she phoned people whilst driving and wasn't dropped to the door (we were dropped in the middle of a busy street)
Liked: Location is very good just off the main street. Very quite within the building.

Liked: Location is great, the receptionist is kind and helpful
Liked: The hosts made sure we have all the information we need - from parking and the ZTL, to food recommendations and were super friendly. They also helped us arrange parking which was super convenient in the craziness of Palermo. The location is more than perfect, 1-2 minutes away from the main street of the old city with all the restaurants and bars. The property is located in an old residential building. Our room had a scenic terrace on the 6th floor and everything we needed for our short stay. Even though it's really central it was pretty quiet at night.
Disliked: The rooms and bathroom need a refresh. They were clean but a bit rundown.
