Exceptional
Perfect location for a city break in Palermo
Liked: The location is perfect for ease of exploring all the main sites. Breakfast on the roof terrace was a lovely start to each day - lovely choice of food and a very friendly welcome. The view is fabulous. The staff were all so helpful and made sure we had all the information we needed to get the most out of our visit - the top tips of where to go for what absolutely made our trip and also helped us discover some hidden treasures we would otherwise have missed. We arrived late at night but communication about how to access the hotel and find our room was very detailed and easy to follow. We felt personally welcomed on arrival even though we did not actually speak to any staff until the next morning. We would recommend this hotel as a great base for a stay in Palermo.
Liked: Location
Disliked: Breakfast was basic and limited
Great location, clean and quiet
Liked: Great location, very neat the centre. Big room, very clean. Large comfortable bed. Small balcony. It's on a side street so not very noisy, but in any case the double glazing was very effective. Nice breakfast on the roof. Helpful staff. It is in an old building, so no lift and lots of stairs, which gives it character but will be tricky if you have mobility issues.
Disliked: There are no facilities beyond the roof terrace, so you can't buy a drink etc, although you can take your own up there and they did leave a bottle opener and some plastic cups out. The reception team leave at 4pm so you need to be self sufficient in the evenings.
