Fabulous
Wonderful week-long stay with historical landmarks at a walking distance and good night sleep.;)
Liked: The location is outstanding. It's in historical centre of the city: Capo Market is basically outside the door, all the major historical objects are within walking distance. At the same time at night it's quiet. The staff is very amiable and helpful. We arrived in the middle of night and there was no one at the property, but all the doors were unlocked for us remotely (nice). The service was great!
Disliked: Bathroom experience could have been better. Nothing crucial though. I let the owners know and I believe everything would be fixed before someone else enters the room.
Very cosy place, at great location
Liked: Everything was great, for the price you pay you get very good accommodation. The location is also awesome and close to tourist attractions (10 minutes walk or bus). Both host and staff were lovely people. Breakfast was served in an area in accommodation(good range of food, if you’re not picky you will find something definitely). I read some reviews that mentioned noise from the street, but we didn’t have any issues:) thank you!
Liked: Great stay Everything was great! The room was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. The location is excellent, with the market and all the main attractions within walking distance. The breakfast was delicious, and everything was very clean and organized. The staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Mercedes Rooms! ❤️
Liked: Great location, close to shops, restaurants etc
Disliked: Selection of breakfast was poor, yoghurts and cartons of juice were sitting out warm. Only other options were croissants, some cheese and deli meats, which didn’t look very fresh and two choices of cereal. The first day we checked in, we were told air conditioning wasn’t working, we then had to sit in for our first day there to wait on the man fixing it. Air conditioning then stopped working on the second day and instead of blowing out cool air, it was blowing out warm air. The management were clearly aware of this problem and decided to put us in this room anyway. We had to split the rest of our stay between another two rooms, which were both much smaller than the first room we originally paid for. Wouldn’t say it’s quality for money here at all. The other staff weren’t the friendliest at times and when asked for extra towels and toilet rolls, they acted as if they had to go out their way to get this for us.
Liked: Great location, friendly helpful host
Disliked: Bathroom looking a bit tired
Liked: Good location, great host ready to help, very responsive, clean.
Disliked: The walls are quite thin and infront of our doors there was a common space so it didn't feel very private at times.
