Fabulous
A great stay close to the station
Liked: The location was great, very easy to get to from the train station. The staff were also very helpful, especially since we arrived very late after the volcano delayed our flight by several hours. The flat is spacious, had the essentials and a very nice balcony, AC worked well.
Disliked: The entrance and stairs are marble so take care brining your suitcases up. Having a small space to organise clothing and things in the living room would have been helpful, since the upper level where the wardrobe and bed are is quite a way up.
In the center of Palermo!
Liked: Valerio explained everything to us before our arrival. We arrived late and the instructions were very clear. The apartment is very well located, close to Quattro Canti the center of the city, and close to the train station from the airport. And the place is very calm with a view on the roofs of Palermo!

Great location for experiencing Palermo
Liked: The apartment is in a beautiful old building. It looks plain from the outside but on opening the door you are greeted with an amazing interior courtyard. The apartment is located in the heart of the old town and it's only a a minute's walk to Via Maqueda and Via Roma, and the Ballaro district (lively and welcoming). There is a Lidl just round the corner for supplies. We were on the top floor and had a large balcony looking out towards Catello Utveggio and the hills beyond. The air conditioning was fantastic and coped well with the 35 C outside temperatures. The well stocked coffee machine was very welcome and the team were quick to restock when we asked. The kitchen was basic but functional with a 2 ring electric hob, kettle, toaster, and microwave. We didn't cook because, well, Palermo!. There was also a hairdryer and an iron. The mezzanine bedroom and the vaulted ceiling made the apparent seem spacious and classy. We had been warned about crime on Palermo but we saw none and felt safe at all times (except when crossing the road lol).
Disliked: A bread knife would have been useful.
