Good
Difficult to drive in Palermo but if you have to, this one is good for avoiding the ZTL
Liked: The hotel was a short walk to many restaurants. Good location. Parking our rental car was easy.
Poor hospitality
Liked: Size of the room.
Disliked: During our four-night stay, water abd tea bags were not replenished. Reception sas that was only a welcome gesture, so we had to buy from Reception which was not cheap. You give a kettle and no tea bags?! In general poor hospitality.
Liked: Location near to city center.
Disliked: To much noise from the port.
Great Value and Location
Liked: Room was spacious and very clean, AC working well and bathroom was very big. Breakfast was served in the last floor with a balcony facing the port, had several options, served as buffet. Staff was nice and always available. Although the hotel is not on the historical center, you can walk to the majority of must see locations and have several restaurants and bars nearby. Hotel has parking available.
Disliked: Hotel still under refurbish works so we were given a room in the 6th floor, right below the common area where breakfast was served so we would start to hear some noise coming from the kitchen around 8am.
Great location but refuse a 6th floor room
Liked: Overlooking a busy sea port was fascinating and great to watch. The evening buffet meal was very nice, plenty of choice and catered for gluten free items when asked for. Evening staff were cheerful and helpful. Hop on Hop off bus stop was a short walk.
Disliked: Our room was on floor 6 beneath the 7th floor restaurant. We could hear every plastic chair being moved from 7am and in the evening time. Breakfast was basic, scrambled egg put out in one container that emptied quickly. Could do with two pans being put out. Did not find breakfast room staff cheerful or helpful. Although the room was very nice, the stone floor was dusty around the edges.
A good Stay
Liked: A good hotel near the port that offers a very good buffet dinner and an excellent buffet breakfast and staff are very kind and Helping.
Disliked: All good
