Nice, inexpensive place to stay and I will return when I go back to Palermo
Liked: It took a bit to get my bearings but once aboard the location was exceptional for the things I wanted to do while in Palermo. The buses and trains are very efficient, inexpensive ways to get around while in Sicily...
Disliked: Often the outside noise during the day can be a bit annoying but the evenings were quiet for a good nights rest...
Liked: Excellent location, walking distance to everything you'll never need a car. Wifi is a bit slow but it works, ac works fine.
Disliked: The communication with the host is a bit weird we had to call him on the phone to let us know we're arriving. The towels and bedsheets are really old and I would only recommend the host to update them with new ones.
The owner is super friendly and gave me nice tips of what’s to do there! I’d recommend it a lot for woman single travel

Great value, comfort and location
Liked: I had an excellent stay at Sant’Oliva Homestay! I got a very good and big room, it was very comfortable and clean all the time. I could buy food from the supermarkets in the vicinity and store in the fridge the ones requiring cold. Also, the location was great: just steps to Teatro Politeama and the beginning of Via Maqueda. I would gladly stay at this place again!
Liked: The room and building were clean.
Disliked: The website said it was a room with a double bed but it was a single bed. A hairdryer was listed as a room feature but it wasn't there. There was no hot water for showering. There was a lot of noise in the room during the night. The room was very small and depressing. Overall, I was not satisfied.

Liked: The property is quirky, basic, clean. I had the room with a balcony which was perfect. The location is fabulous, you are 10 minutes away from everything. Definitely would stay again. Picture is view from balcony! So lovely, even in the rain.
Disliked: I was there in March and it was quite windy and rainy and cold, I had a little heater, but with marble floors it was a bit cold, maybe a carpet on the floor to keep the heat in winter.
