Fabulous
Lovely view
Liked: I loved the corner room with plenty of natural light and a lovely view over the lake. Large windows. Shower was great with pressure. Location is lovely. Super cute view.
Disliked: Since the owner has a few rooms and they have different entrances - it can be a little tricky to find the correct one - they are all steps away - but when carrying a luggage and being under the rain it feels extra. The owner provides all the instructions - I just had no idea how to locate East - West in such a new place - so is likely my lack of sense of orientation what made it a little harder.
Absolutely book this it won’t disappoint
Liked: The location was brilliant and view was amazing, we had a car and the parking was very close and always managed to get a space. We loved the restaurant below we would use this for breakfast every morning, and we also enjoyed an evening meal.
Disliked: Hot water didn’t seem to work in the sink however it was perfect in shower.
Liked: I loved also having an eletric kettle and a fridge in the room. The shower was also nice
Liked: It was a complicated check in. But the main issue we had with this place is the false statement on Booking.com: "Free on-site parking" - placed prominently in the add. We had to go back to the public parking several times to top up. And had to leave our luggage in the car as carrying all would have been too inconvenient.
Overall, we had a great stay
Liked: The hotel is in an excellent location, with very convenient transport links. There are plenty of restaurants and bars right downstairs. The room was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Communication with the staff was smooth, and they responded very quickly.
Disliked: The walls are quite thin, the soundproofing could be better.
