  If you visit Garsaland or Natura Park I recommend the hotel

  Liked: It was very near Gardaland,the reason of our trip. The room had all the necessary. They offered shuttle services to Gardaland.

  Disliked: I don’t recall anything that I didn’t like.

  A very budget hotel. Not suggesting you get what you pay for, but…

  Liked: The breakfast was ok. It had a range of fruits, cakes, egg, meats and cereal. The kids had fun playing in the pool and there were enough sun loungers.

  Disliked: The majority of staff were frosty. One of the staff told me ‘I’m finishing now’, when asked a question about taxis. Then stayed to answer my questions, but with an exasperated look on their face. We didn’t make any complaints during our stay, but when I checked out, I placed the key on the reception desk and a different member of staff took it without even saying anything to me, asking how the stay was etc. There was no smile or ‘thanks for staying with us’, she took the key, didn’t say a word to me, turned round and carried on doing what she was doing. I’d never seen her before, so it wasn’t like I’d somehow managed to annoy her beforehand either. They advertise a shuttle service to places like Gardaland, however what they don’t tell you until you get there is they only run the shuttle service when there are two of them on the reception desk, as one of them drives the shuttle bus. This rules out mornings and evening shuttle service, leaving only the daytime - when everyone is already out and about. We had a ground floor room, the balcony opens onto the car park and cars can park right up to your balcony fence. This didn’t bother us too much, it was the beds that were the issue. It was like sleeping on planks of wood as they were so hard. Also, the overwhelming smell of drains being pumped into the room by the air con was just too much. It wasn’t all the time, but one night the smell was that bad, I woke up feeling sick. The room was tidied during our stay, but the glasses from the bar we took to the room on the first night, stayed there until after we checked out. It is a mile away from Gardaland, which is 1 reason why we booked it. But it would be easier to stay in Peschiera del Garda, because if you don’t have a car, you have to get a bus into PDG anyway. I’d only advise staying here if you have your own car to get around, as it is out of the way, with poor public transport. And you don’t mind frosty staff, hard beds and the smell of drains.

  Far too expensive for the services provided

  Liked: Everything felt old. There was moisture in the room. The breakfast was fairly varied, and I appreciated the possibility of a late check‑in close to midnight. However, I didn’t like the hotel. For a one‑night stay, it was decent.

  Liked: Close to Gardaland. They also have a nice pool which was wonderful on a hot summer day.

  Liked: Wonderful hotel and a great experience. The place was very clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for our family. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
