Exceptional
Liked: What a beautiful place, slice of heaven. Absolutely wonderful. My wife and I enjoyed 3 nights of peaceful tranquility waking and sleeping to the sound of the sea. The apartment is very modest but has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Very comfortable. Emanuela was kind and stayed in contact as there was a chance of the ferry not operating. Everything worked out perfectly. Loved it!
I never want to go places more than once but here, I wish to come back
Liked: Being able to paddleboard to beaches where we were the only ones there once the last ferries left for the day was a dream. Or I could just sit by the window all day and watch the coming and going of people and that view all day long. Of course we went to Portofino, but honestly, I wished I had just stayed here all day instead. Emanuela was so sweet. She set us up with food for days and even delivered extra things. The walk to the property from the ferry isn’t bad at all; rolling suitcases wouldn’t work but the walk is actually quite pleasant. You basically see the whole town on the way. The mountain goats were all over one night and I just sat and watched them dot the mountainside from my paddleboard. It was a dream.
Disliked: Nothing. Everything was as pictured.
A charming rustic retreat off the beaten track
Liked: The beauty of this cove and the view from the bedroom was breathtaking. A small but perfectly formed apartment. Was great to have use of the paddle boards and small boat for fun in the sea. The accommodation was spotless, simple and comfortable, providing just what you need for unwinding and relaxing. We visited with our two children (12 &15) who shared the large size sofa bed, (very comfortable) in the kitchen/dining space. There is also Aircon in all rooms which was much appreciated in the heat. In the evening you virtually have the cove to yourself after the tourist boats leave, and you are left with the soothing sound of the waves as you fall asleep. Travel light and ideally with it in a backpack as reaching this gem is only on foot or by boat and once you disembark the boat there are windy paths with many steps. Emanuela was the kindest host who offered guidance and support as needed, it felt like nothing was too much trouble. Expect slightly more pricey menus compared to Camogli as everything has to be shipped in to this cove. Bring the essentials you need from the mainland as there are no shops if you forget these and arrive after the boats have ceased.
Disliked: Nothing. For a few days we were impacted by stormy weather which meant all the restaurants in the cove closed up and no boats were running but hey, that's mother nature for you, you just got to roll with it!

Liked: An amazing place, with tremendous views. Pack a few books, 2 swimming trunks and a few t shirts and stay a month or more in an amazingly beautiful place. Perfectly scenic and relaxing. Friendly and professional service.
Disliked: nothing it was a lovely stay.
