  A top 10 best balcony view stay

  Liked: The location is brilliant - 10 minute stroll into Portofino Centre and far enough away to feel like a quiet oasis. Views from our balcony were stunning, super comfortable bed and staff were lovely. Definitely book rooms with a balcony and sea view.

  Disliked: It has been noted in previous reviews that there is an opportunity to redecorate /renovate. That said, the decor didn’t detract from the overall location and amenity of this charming little hotel.

  Location walk to portofino and beach across road

  Liked: The only two things good about this property is the location and the staff. The beach across the street and private lounge area with bar and views incredible and the staff was wonderful. The hotel needs to be gutted and start over good grief. Such a shame! The entire time I was there I was remodeling in my mind and I don't understand why the owners have not done this. The property could be worth double per night if it was remodeled and if you're interested contact me, I'm a designer!!

  Liked: The private loungers beside the sea. The fabulous meal on the terrace overlooking the sea.

  Disliked: A bit tired. No bar facilities for afternoon or late night.

  Everything we were looking for in our Italian coastal vacation stop! Wonderful place

  Liked: The the moment we arrived the town was lovely, tight coastal streets, but the hotel staff came right outside as we pulled to side and helped us unload and safely park our car for us. We had an elevator to our spacious family room overlooking the water! Such a view! Easy, pleasant walk on a path to town. It was perfectly just outside the business of the town but 10 minute walk in! Andrea (an amazing staff member) personally suggested and called in a dinner reservation for us and it was an amazing rec!! Comfortable beds, good AC, loved the location. We enjoyed the breakfast fully set up on their private terrace overlooking the water.

  Disliked: Everything was excellent at the place. But if you plan to enjoy the sea water, bring water shoes. The round rocks and shells are quite painful as you dip in the water.
