Exceptional
Liked: Very well placed and confortable, it has everything to make you feel at home I definetely recommand it!
I was very pleased with the accommodation and the sundeck. Recommended
Liked: There was a delay or more of about an hour. Local postwoman did not lots of calls on my behalf as my mobile did not work in Italy. She was a gem.
Disliked: Agents could have been waiting at property between 12.00 and 13.00 as requested - since I arrived at 12.30pm. They did not state the number of the property - which is 9 on Booking.com - so I confused it with the postcode thinking I would have to walk up endless steps. I am asthmatic. Fortunately, I was rescued by the local post woman delivering mail who made several calls on my behalf. Fortunately, the owner turned up later in the day, and organised for the hot water and electricity to be put on properly which happened straight away.
Liked: Really nice apartment. Great location
Disliked: A little confusing to find the car parking.
Liked: Good Location
Disliked: The lock didn’t work properly. The air conditioner also did not work well and was quite noisy. I had knee problem and was not notified that it is necessary to climb up flights of stairs. And we had 4 big luggages to carry. Booking.com said there is some one on location to check in. In fact, keys are just left in key box and there is no one to help moving luggages. We need to move the luggages ourselves from the car park to the apartment and also when we left. Given the value of the property, we expect someone to help for the luggages. The note on booking.com is misleading.
Liked: Location was close to the heart of Portofino, it had designated parking and laundry
Disliked: The kitchen was not a well stocked (ex: a few napkins, but no paper towel roll, just one cloth kitchen towel, a couple of cooking utensils, one of which was a moldy stained wooden spoon, no pans, just pots, and just type of kitchen soap (was it hand or dish soap)?
It was perfect!
Liked: It had everything we needed. It was comfortable and cozy. Having a dedicated parking spot was awesome!
Disliked: The door was tricky to open and lock.
