Good
A huge disappointment: very uncomfortable and not worth the exhorbitant price
Liked: The decoration was cute enough but that was the almost only positive feature
Disliked: They totally misrepresented the accomodation: the apartment is on the first floor and there is one room on each floor; even though it looks spacious in the pictures, the apartment is actually small and uncomfortable. It was dusty and stuffy even with the A/C on because there is only one window. The electric fixture were iffy at best and the wifi was unstable. The shower box was minimal and we found 2 spiders in the bathroom. And last but not least, it is scandalously overpriced (more than 1,000 euro for 3 days, more than double of what we paid for much larger and better apartments along the north of Italy. A very disappointing experience, so much so that we left a day early and gave them notice the night before; we expect a partial refund but Vicoletto people are saying the will "handle it through Booking.com". We are not sure what they mean and intend to submit a formal complaint. This is the first time I've had such a bad experience with accommodation booked thru Booking.com. Please advise on how to proceed.

Liked: We really enjoyed out stay here in Portofino. The location of the apartment was incredible, easy access form the parking garage and right in the middle of the village. The apartment was lovely, it was a little small for two adults and two teenagers, but for the 4 night we stayed it was ok. very small bathroom and shower, but clean and all the basics you need. Very steep stairs to get into the apartment and we had rather large suitcases, so a little challenging, but adds to the character of the apartment. My husband and I would come back and stay here by ourselves happily.
Probably the prettiest harbour in the world, this property is in a great location
Liked: Fantastic location, quiet, nicely laid out. Portofino is stunning. The coffee shop next door was great, served the best coffee in Portofino and only 2E compared to 5E on the harbour front.
Disliked: Car parking is hideously expensive and you can only park in the main car park. The website said parking making it sound like it came with the property. For the cost per night, it would have been nice to have some, milk, coffee and bread on arrival or at least something. The stairs are extremely steep on entering the property. Not a problem for us but could be for some people. Everything is more expensive in Portofino but that was expected due to the location.
