  Too expensive for what it is

  Liked: The location and the pool were great

  Disliked: No tea or coffee in the room nor in the communal kitchen, some cobwebs in the room, the room was very hot and no aircon or fan to help, breakfast was just average with no high quality food other than two homemade cakes. The croissants were clearly the frozen “cook at home” type and no fresh fruit but some pale looking fruit salad.

  Disliked: Need a car to get anywhere from the hotel, but that’s expected when you want to stay in Chianti

  Perfect for a disconnected getaway

  Liked: Small boutique hotel, perfect for an escape and it is close to very nice little towns. Jacobo was great!

  Liked: Good location and very beautiful in the vineyards, the room was very clean and comfortable. To be honest I would stay somewhere else in the area, it will be nicer for the same price.

  Disliked: This is more like a 3 star in the UK or US. Staff were very unfriendly and made us feel very unwelcome, apart from the younger female receptionist. The restaurant is very bad and hugely overpriced, if you do stay here don’t bother with eating the staff were rude and food was awful.
