Exceptional
Five stars but not five star service
Disliked: Very poor facilities no sauna unless pre booked no pool. Bar poorly staffed and stocked often drinks beers and tonic not chilled for example. Also watch your bill incorrect charging occurred twice in a week! Tours booked through the hotel turned out to be very poor despite VIP pricing and a driver hired for the day to take us to Anzio didn’t know where Anzio was and tried to drop us 10 mins from the centre by car! The first night and first two days were ruined by a party for 1000 on the roof and the do must have been above our heads the ceiling was bouncing until 02:00!! Quick to give gifts and discounts but no change to protocol after all it’s meant to be a five star hotel! Breakfast often wiped out an chaotic with cruise guests dominating
Facilities excellent, location very convenient
Liked: Great location, friendly staff and large rooms in historical wing.
Disliked: rooms well kept but condition of carpets old and worn (very stained). I had 3 rooms and all were the same.
10/10 best hotel ever!

The spa & wellness centre is available at an extra cost. The swimming pool is only open from May to September. When booking more than 9 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.
