Guest reviews
Very good
This hotel provided respite and a very warm welcome
Liked: The management team was exceptional. We felt welcome and cared for even before we entered the hilltop village.
Disliked: It was further from Cortona than we expected but a local bus took us closer and it was a 23 minute walk from the hotel. After being in busy cities this is the break we needed.
Not worth it for the price
Liked: Location and comfortable bed
Disliked: Hot water ran out at night and was only warm. Phone in room didnt work and so had to go to reception for room service. 12 stairs up to building at front no other way in. Fire alarm early hours of the morning took ages to fix.
Liked: Good location close to Vatican; good breakfast and magnificent view from the restaurant/bar
Disliked: Unfortunately there were some issues with hot water supply during our stay due to heating central failure; they fixed it but the repair lasted for half day. It might happen anywhere…
We had a delightful stay. The hotel was very central and we were a few minutes walk from a street full of Al fresco din
Liked: The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. The bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: The lift took a long time to call.
Liked: Wow, great hotel i recommend
Liked: Have stayed here several times. We enjoy the breakfast buffet, although it was the same each day. Room was clean and cleaned daily. Great location near the Vatican. Interior room was quiet. As always, awesome views from the restaurant do not disappoint.
Disliked: Lack of variety in buffet. Some rooms can be dark.
