Great hotel, just off the city sights but easy to access everything
Liked: The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the station, away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Serve yourself but plenty of choice. The rooms were lovely and clean. Room for everything you need. Plenty of sockets. There was a bar across the street that also served food. There were many Italian restaurants within 3 minutes walk. The hotel has an interest in a restaurant at the end of the road. That was excellent.

Friendly staff and good breakfast, but disappointing value for money
Liked: The hotel has a reasonably convenient location, within walking distance of Roma Termini and Castro Pretorio metro station. The reception staff were excellent throughout my stay. Everyone was consistently polite, friendly and welcoming, always greeting me when I came in or went out and wishing me a pleasant day. Sometimes they even opened the entrance door before I had a chance to use my key card. Check-in went smoothly, and I appreciated being able to pay in cash. The staff were also very helpful at check-out. They stored my luggage free of charge until I needed to leave for the airport. I also asked whether they had a SIM card ejector tool, as I needed one for my journey home. The receptionist kindly took the time to look for one, found it and let me keep it. It was a small but thoughtful gesture that I really appreciated. Cleanliness was excellent. The room was well maintained, and housekeeping did a good job throughout my stay. The room was equipped with a kettle and a refrigerator, and several complimentary bottles of water were provided. These were nice touches that made the stay more convenient. Breakfast was another positive aspect. There was a good variety of pastries, cereals, yoghurt, cold cuts, cheeses and other options, along with coffee and juice machines. I particularly liked the Nutella dispenser! Overall, the breakfast selection was very good.
Disliked: For approximately €470 for three nights, I expected a little more, particularly in terms of the room itself. My room was located in a separate section of the building and had a rather unusual layout, with a corridor and windows overlooking inner courtyards. The interior and furnishings felt somewhat dated, and the overall atmosphere was less appealing than I had expected for this price. The bathroom was generally fine, although the shower enclosure felt a little flimsy. Everything worked properly, however. The location was reasonably convenient, but not exceptional, especially considering the price. One disappointing experience involved a member of the breakfast staff. On my first morning, she was very friendly and explained that breakfast finished at 10:00. The following morning, I arrived at around 10:00 again. I fully understand that this was the official closing time, and I take responsibility for arriving so late. However, her attitude was noticeably different this time. She abruptly reminded me, "We close at 10," and then made a remark in Italian that I couldn't fully understand but which sounded dismissive to me. I was still allowed to have breakfast without any problems, so I certainly wasn't refused service. Nevertheless, the interaction felt unnecessarily unfriendly, especially compared with the otherwise excellent hospitality of the reception staff. Personally, I also found the 10:00 breakfast closing time rather early for a leisure trip. An extra hour would have made the mornings much more relaxing. Overall, this was a decent hotel, but I expected better value for money.
