Good
Very adequate for our needs
Liked: The location was great for walking to most of the main sights in Rome. The Colosseum, Pantheon, Tivoli Fountain and Spanish were easily walkable from Hotel Corona together with a nearby metro to take you Vatican City. The reception staff were friendly and helpful providing us with information regarding the sights. There a number restaurants nearby providing very reasonable priced Italian food.
Disliked: Not quite enough variety with the breakfast for example there was no yogurt the some of the fresh fruit was a little sad. Our room was situated at the end of a corridor the building work began about 8.30hrs on the next door building a lot of drilling and banging. However fortunately it did not disturb our time too much as we were up early for breakfast to see Rome
It was not bad for a short stay and the cost was very reasonable
Liked: It was very clean and walking accessible to many restaurants and shops. It was not far from transportation and you could easily walk to the coliseum or other attractions.
Disliked: The elevator is very tiny and a squeeze for 2 people. The bed was extremely firm and hard on my back.
The location and the reception staff were great. Breakfast was poor. The room was clean and cozy
Liked: I really liked the hotel's location; the reception staff were fantastic—friendly and always happy to help. The room was exactly as I had expected.
Disliked: I didn’t like the fact that housekeeping always arrived while we were in the room—it felt as if they timed it that way on purpose so they wouldn’t have to clean. Naturally, we declined the service. I also didn’t care for the breakfasts; the food quality was poor, and the tomatoes were rotten. Furthermore, the time allowed for breakfast was limited—after 40 minutes, you were charged 5 euros.
Liked: We like the location and clean staff were very helpful
Disliked: None
Disappointed
Liked: The location
Disliked: Breakfast was included, but every evening we had to choose just ONE croissant for the following morning, and we were not allowed more than one. I wouldn’t describe that as a generous breakfast experience, and the quality was poor overall. When I asked for an iron, I was told that ironing was not permitted in the room. As travellers, we arrive with clothes packed in suitcases, so having a way to iron wrinkled clothing is a practical need. I also requested a one-hour extension to checkout, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., and was told it would cost €10. Combined with the other restrictions, this made the experience feel focused on extra charges rather than guest comfort. The toiletries were limited too, with no separate shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Plesant stay and good location. Helpful staff
Liked: Breakfast was nice. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. Good location.
Disliked: All good
