Exceptional
Perfect location, quiet, spacious room, superb breakfast and very helpful staff
Liked: The breakfast was great - ample choice, good quality and always fresh, plus plentiful coffee all eaten in the sunny and relaxing rooftop room - a great way to start the day. Our room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, the shower great, and it was very quiet. The location was perfect for us to- close to the main sites in the historical centre and also to multiple good restaurants in the Jewish quarter and in lively Trastevere.
Disliked: A very minor disappointment was that the room was rather dark as on the ground floor, which meant there was no view either.
Overall a great stay for a first time in Rome
Liked: Staff friendly, room was big, shower was great and the complimentary breakfast on the roof each morning.
Disliked: Door would not lock properly at times and door handle came out from the inside on the 3rd day. Staff was told but did not fix.
Loved it! If I return to Rome, I'd return to Monte Cenci Hotel
Liked: Concierge and manager were super friendly and super helpful. Room was well equipped and cleaning was excellent. The Lavazza coffee machine was a HIT! We gave manager some constructive ideas on what to improve in the bath/WC. He was very thankful for our input.
Great hotel, wonderful staff
Liked: This is our second time in this hotel. The hotel is located centrally to many of the wonderful attractions Rome is famous for. We walked to the Colosseum, the Vatican, Trevi fountain, the Spanish Steps, and the Pantheon with ease; all were within 25 minutes. The staff is wonderful, the breakfast fresh, and we will be sure to come back again.
Disliked: Rome's traffic is always heavy, but the hotel's location provides the opportunity avoid it be walking.
Liked: Charming old building with a history
Disliked: The lift is small but it is a very old property

Liked: Great hotel experience! Staff was super helpful, respectful and friendly! Room was like being at home. So comfortable! Hotel is Shabbat and kosher friendly and accommodating. Great location.
