Very convenient location in Rome
Liked: The room was well-appointed and tastefully decorated in a Victorian style. The amenities were excellent, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located, with a bus stop directly in front of the property, the Repubblica metro station within walking distance, and Termini train station about a 10-minute walk away. A mini-market and pharmacy are also nearby. The staff were attentive, friendly, and consistently helpful throughout my stay.
Disliked: I was very disappointed with the breakfast buffet's hot offerings. There were no freshly prepared eggs available, not even hard-boiled eggs. The scrambled eggs and omelet pieces appeared to be made from prepackaged mixes and had a manufactured taste. When I asked whether fresh eggs were available, I was told they could be prepared, but only for an additional charge. The other hot items, such as sausage, bacon, and mini hash browns, also appeared to be cooked from frozen products. In addition, all of the hot food was served only warm rather than hot. On a positive note, the pastries and other cold items were excellent. For a hotel of this caliber and at the rate charged, I would expect the breakfast buffet to include freshly prepared hot items at no extra cost.
Liked: Buffet breakfast was good
Disliked: Bathroom had no ventilation and low lighting. Reported broken drain in sink, and though someone came to check it, still never worked. Had to pull plug up with our fingernails. For a standard room size for two single beds the room size greatly surprised and disappointed us with how small it was. We didn't feel we got value for our money but assumed this was what you paid for in Rome. Also, had to juggle with no extra outlets to charge phones etc. other than one at desk.

Liked: Breakfast was nice and it was in a good location.
Disliked: The staff did not seem very friendly. I had reserved a car for the trip back to airport but was not reserved. Room was not turned over as expected. The lights flickered a lot. Not good service on TV. WiFi was okay. I asked to be put in the room sooner and was never notified if my request could be completed. The shower wand head was leaking and didnt work. Bed was very hard.
