Exceptional
Fantastic hideaway guesthouse in a fantastic location
Liked: The room was small but perfect for me on my very short solo visit. It was sparkling clean and very quiet. I arrived after 6 pm and the manager waited to check me in and orient me to the guest house, which even has an elevator! He also gave me fantastic instructions to get to the guest house from the train station on the Metro. Then, he showed me where to catch very inexpensive shuttle buses to the airport from right next to the guest house. He also allowed me to leave my bags after checkout so I could tour the city before my late night flight. The location couldn't be better for touring Rome. All the major sites are within walking distance. When I return to Rome, this is where I'll stay.
Disliked: Arriving after dark, it was a bit difficult finding the guesthouse because there are no signs for it on the street. I had to call the manager from Cavour Piazza to ask where it was, and it turned out I had walked right past it. When I walked back from the piazza, he met me at the door, which is an entry to a parking area with steps and an elevator to the first floor where there's a sign for the guest house. I think if I had arrived during the day, I would have found it more easily.
Beautiful location, very comfortable and a great, flexible host

Disliked: Old and a bit run down furniture, shower canin, can use some refreshing

Disliked: The bed sheets could've been cleaner. Also, it was a noisy room... not sure how the other rooms are.

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation in Rome. The room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The location is excellent within easy walking distance of many of Rome's most famous attractions, close to the Vatican, and surrounded by great restaurants. Public transportation is also very convenient, with both buses and the metro nearby, making it easy to explore every corner of the city. Our host Ovidio was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to help us discover Rome with ease. We received excellent recommendations about public transportation, the city's main attractions, and useful local tips that made our visit even more enjoyable. We truly felt at home during our stay and would not hesitate to book this accommodation again on our next trip to Rome. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, peaceful, and perfectly located place to stay. Thank you for making our visit to Rome such a memorable experience!
