I would not recommend due to security issues
Liked: Attractive old building. Good location, central.
Disliked: Security is very poor. My room was next to another room and we shared the same entrance code to an outer door. The door codes were printed on business cards so very public. I have never stayed in a hotel with this system before and I felt vulnerable as a woman alone. A small reception desk is only open for a few hours and there were no staff at night. The breakfast was very basic and consisted of highly processed pre-packaged cakes & croissants. Some processed yoghurts & basic cereal. Poor coffee. The first morning I arrived before the staff member who was unfriendly and seemed annoyed that I was early.
Liked: The property was conveniently located, and the staff was very friendly. The facilities were clean and we found the bed quite comfortable.
Liked: Fantastic location on Via Cavour in the heart of the Monti district. We almost chose a Trastevere location due to reviews but enjoyed this location much more due to the walkability to the main local sites. Room was a very generous size considering standard EU room sizes that most Americans are surprised by. They offer a nice continental style breakfast in the lobby area, we didn't use it much but mostly due to us forgetting about it and our desire to enjoy the local places. Hosts were very nice and accommodating. Would absolutely stay here again, don't forget to enjoy the bar right downstairs on the street and say hi to Fabio, great caffe and cornetto!

Liked: I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it. Comfortable and convenient. The location was excellent. It was very easy to get around, with Cavour Metro station just a short walk away, while many of Rome’s main sights were also accessible on foot (10min from Colosseum). The air conditioning, water and ice, and slushies at reception were especially appreciated during the very hot weather! The elevator was definitely a life saver after walking all those steps! The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything about the stay felt easy and well organised. Overall, I had a really pleasant stay and felt very comfortable here as a solo traveller. The combination of the great location, comfortable room, good breakfast and friendly service made it an excellent base for my time in Rome. I would happily stay here again.
