Gem in the heart of Rome
Liked: Location is very central to all the main sites. The hotel is offset from the main streets so the hotel and rooms were quiet and it felt like a retreat from the busy tourist areas nearby. There is a stunning Dominican church behind the hotel that our room faced. The hotel itself is a historic building that has been recently renovated so it is very fresh with modern touches, beautiful colors and artistic features. Our room was great and bed very comfortable. The staff here really make this property excel. Everyone we encountered was professional, friendly and very helpful going out of their way to help us with any questions or needs we had including arranging a wonderful city tour. There are lot of people in Rome who do tours and provide services, but the hotel vets them so you know you are getting the best with whoever they recommend. The restaurants onsite are also excellent including the breakfasts. In particular we would like to thank Francisco who graciously welcomed us on arrival, oriented us to the city, and patiently helped us with our many questions and booking our tour.
