Very good
A fine place for a stay near the Vatican
Liked: First off, kudos to the staff who, from the front desk personnel to the breakfast chefs seems united in their commitment to make guests feel welcome and attend to their needs. Bravi tutti! And the breakfast terrace was such a beautiful venue for starting one's day in Rome! The breakfast itself was generous, with a capuccino/espresso machine, teas, breads, pastries, scrambled eggs and breakfast meats, yogurts, and more. The location was ideal for me as I was coming in by public transportation (a mere two blocks from the Lepanto Metro station -- which unfortunately lacks escalators, but I managed) and mainly interested in the Vatican Museums. It's convenient also to the Piazza del Populo, Altar of the Augustan Peace, and, of course, the Tiber itself.
Disliked: I confess that my heart sank a bit to see my room, but that was largely my fault for not studying the photos closely enough. Treat yourselves to one of the double rooms and you'll be happier (I would have been). The shower was 24 inches by 24 inches. I'm not large by any measure, but it was a challenge to wash all parts in a squared torpedo tube.:D I suspect these quibbles reflect my being accustomed to US hotels and US-accommodating hotels abroad.

Disliked: The bed sheet was dirty. I and my sister had skin issues due to the bed sheet.

Liked: Location is amazing! So close to the Metro. Room was excellent, with a nice balcony. Breakfast was excellent with a great terrace
