Fabulous
Location fine, everything else not
Liked: Location and room size
Disliked: No cash payment - ok, but should be mentioned in advance, not on the spot and in such manner. Pillows are like made of wood - gently speaking. No option to change pillows. We wake up after two nights feeling we have broken our neck.
Great location and staff, hotel needs a bit of a spruce up
Liked: Location is brilliant, room was quiet and bed was comfy, breakfast was nice and all the staff were lovely and friendly
Disliked: Room 103 really needs some tlc.the shower doesn’t drain and leaks We had bloodstains on the sheets when we arrived which were replaced very quickly thanks to the staff but I think 103 is the poor room! Some of the communal areas in the hotel are grubby
Good...but could be so much better!
Liked: We stayed in one of the quadruple suites at The Talent in May this year and were excited to return. Location of the hotel is fantastic, max 15mins walk from the Colosseum, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain and right on the Via Del Corso with shops, bars and restaurants. Breakfast is good with a selection of cakes, pastries and cereals with fresh coffee made to order. Staff are wonderful and eager to help - they quickly changed our in room thermostat so our air con worked better and despite terrible weather on our final day the gentleman on reception managed to source us an airport taxi last minute! Lots of really great reasons to stay!
Disliked: Unfortunately this visit we stayed in room 204, also a suite but a very different experience! The room just felt really tired and in need of a refresh, with water stains and scuffs on the walls and electrical switches that were coming loose. There are doors out to an outdoor patio with a table and chairs, but it is surrounded by industrial pipes with hot air vents which makes it not a pleasant area to sit out. However, our biggest issue was the bathroom, it's a fantastic large space but they have squeezed a tiny shower in a corner that due to the way the door opens leaks water all over the floor! It also doesn't have a working extractor, so there are significant damp and mould patches on the ceiling and around the shower itself. This not only makes the bathroom feel rather grimy but is actually really dangerous getting out the shower onto a slippery tiled floor! The reception staff again did all they could bringing us extra towels so we could effectively try to plug the floor, but this is a serious design flaw that needs addressing and is such a shame for what could be a beautiful bathroom! We did try and open the window to help air the bathroom but there is only a light voile curtain and the bathroom window opens onto an internal courtyard with other windows looking into the room, so not ideal for privacy! If we stayed again I would not pay the suite premium for that room as it's just not worth it!
Would recommend it without hesitation
Liked: Spacious room, well located and extremely quiet
Disliked: All was perfect -
Overall a great place to stay but room for improvement
Liked: Location was excellent.. great sized room - smart tv -
Disliked: The breakfast (scrambled eggs/bacon) were cold every morning … Would have been nice to be greeted by reception staff when passing thru or at least a smile
Ok
Liked: Location
Disliked: Breakfast was t good and cleaners didn’t clean well bed sheets were not changed
