  Tuscany retreat

  Liked: This place was a delightful retreat in the hills of Tuscany. this place was delightful, run by a beautiful Italian nonna, with fresh cooking and views of the hills. Great place to rest between wine tours.

  Wonderful stay with gorgeous views and tasty food

  Liked: Wonderful facilities with gorgeous views of Tuscany and less then a 10 minute drive to town. Dinner was phenomenal and at a reasonable price. I would come back in a heartbeat!

  An authentic Tuscan retreat with breathtaking views, warm hospitality, and a peaceful atmosphere

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Il Castagnolino. The location is stunning, surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan countryside and only a short drive from San Gimignano. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, providing the perfect place to relax. The hosts were extremely welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh local products and a lovely atmosphere. The views at sunrise and sunset were unforgettable. We truly appreciated the authentic Tuscan experience and would gladly return.

  Disliked: There was very little to dislike. The countryside location is part of its charm, so having a car is helpful. Other than that, everything met or exceeded our expectations.

  A wonderful relaxing stay in the Tuscan countryside with great food

  Liked: Wonderful setting - lovely, clean room with air conditioning. Fabulous buffet breakfast (outside) and a fabulous local Tuscan evening 4 course meal (additional charge make sure you book in advance). Lovely pool area.
